One of the reasons I find flash useful is because of its usage of vector graphics and images, These allow the original vector imaging resized without compromising the quality of the image, Also they have an extremely low file size which is handy for making the files them self-portable and speeding up animations. Along with this flash has a range of adjustment tools and filters which are like Photoshop and can effect opacity, add a shadow or draw fresh images, This speeds up the work process as you will not need to design something on Photoshop or illustrator and also makes your machine faster as it will not be running 2 programs for 1 purpose all things made in flash are also vector. This is very handy when making things in spur of the moments or if you need to make effects which you want to see on things before you implement them, so instead of spending 5 hours to find out it’s a different colour of blue, you can sample the colour and make it on the image so you know 100% how it will look on it.
Flash also has a wide range of compatibility which will effect the things which can be made on it. For instance you can link the areas of your game or programing to respond to things which are outside of your standard hardware, you can link anything from a microphone, heartbeat monitor or camera to detect movement. By connecting it to these you can make it dependant on them , so if you move into the camera the game will start, or it will record your heart beat monitor, even have a sing star sort of game , this to me really emphasis’s how robust and versatile flash can be.
The capability of animation is also a nice feature this helps draw in someone to the game or banner that is the ability to make something interactive and/or animated this draws in users or potential customers and can make things a lot more exciting and remember able. Along with this sound can be incorporated which can both enhance an animation and make it a lot more immersive or attention drawing. The ability to code allows flash to do animations or even create games and make interactive interfaces (simple ones). This can be from moving an object with the left and right arrows or entire games where each object will react to one another. These things all add to the interactivity and appeal of something which will also increase how attractive someone finds it. All in all Combining sounds which happen when something’s clicked, An interactive interface which is easy to navigate and not confusing , and animations and smooth images , this can produce some very positive results which appeal to most people.
On the compatibility and convince side of flash, Flash works well with both Photoshop and illustrator files from which will both load to flash allowing for expanded and more defined editing, The ability to do this greatly assists your graphics for anything, the ability to apply filters and such via Photoshop while being able to make more refined vector images with illustrator.

Over all I do not find flash for me, I can’t get the nic of action script and it drives me insane! but otherwise I can see how it can attract people to it and also how much potential it has to offer.
